Generally I can be found roaming somewhere in the world. I'm originally from Hungary, I grew up in Kuwait, I did my BA in the States, my MA in the UK, and now work in Hungary, but still return to Kuwait regularly :o)
I bought a suit today, and I need some opinions because the jacket is vertically striped, while the skirt is diagonally striped, and I can't decide if it looks good or silly. The material is exactly the same for the jacket and the skirt, and I guess they had it like this on purpose.

I like it,,, actually never buy top and bottom with the same strips... having the skirt with an angle stripe makes it more feminin and sexy :) because the jacket a bit masculan..

Judy: I'll get something either white or beige to wear underneath, and yes, I have a pair of nice high heel shoes to go with it. Eventually I might only wear the skirt if I find a nice top, because I don't want to be too too formal looking.

personally i would go for lacy top :) check out river island they have lots of fun funky lacy tops will break the formal look.

I really agree with Judy, you need to shop for a lacy top or perhaps something colourful to wear underneath that just to break the formal look.
It's from BHS. They had quite a large selection on quite normal prices. The skirt was like KD8 (£15) and the jacket was on sale for KD13 (£25).
I don't know about the lacy top, because it's for a day event, but it will definitely be something brighter. With black tights and black shoes I just look too dark.
oh oh tight i read tights ... then you definitly have to get those sheer black tights with only one long strip in the back I LOVE THEM... you'll find them at debenhams.
Now that's a great bargain!
